The kiloWatt.hour is a unit of energy. It can be made from multiplying the power of a device, appliance in thousands of Watts, input or output by the time device on in hours. The Watt is a Joule per Second. The SI unit of energy is the Joule.
kW.h are used as unit of energy for consumer energy bills & statements in GB.
